About Cash For Clothing

We are a clothing & textiles recycling company since 2007. We recycle your unwanted clothes and export them to disadvantaged people in third world countries.

We pay $$$ for your unwanted, pre-loved clothes. Simply book a collection. We come to your house, bring them to our depot, weigh them and pay via secure online bank transfer or PayID.

We are an approved recycling company who are helping disadvantaged people afford clothing. Since 2007, we have recycled and exported over 1200 tonnes of clothing per year. We are able to provide a high-quality service due to our large sorting facility in Smithfield, our professional recycling team and a global network of clothing sales and distribution. We are helping to reduce the huge amount of waste that is ending up in Australian landfills. It is estimated that on average 6 tonnes of clothing and textiles goes into Australian landfill every 10 minutes!

How our service works?

You will receive a confirmation text or email 24 hours prior to collection.

Please place your items against the side wall of your house.

Our professional door-to-door service team will bring the bags to our depot and weigh them.

Yes. Minimum 20 Kg of items or 4 normal size garbage bags per pickup.

Our form of payment is  PayID or  Online Bank Transfer.

Nothing. This is a free service and we pay cash for your pre-loved clothes.

We will not attend site unless we receive a reply Yes or No from you via text or email that your clothes are bagged and ready for pick-up. This is to avoid a wasted trip if your clothes are not ready for pick-up.

We operate in all suburbs of Sydney.

Please pack into a clean garbage bag.

No, you don’t need to be at home. You can leave the bags under the secure area.

No. Feel free to book as many as you like!

No. We only accept clothes from households.

Fundraising and Charity with Cash For Clothing

We welcome any community partnerships as we are already involved with a number of charities such as the McGrath Foundation, Lone Fathers Association and numerous schools and clubs across Sydney. Please email your ideas and suggestions to info@cashforclothing.com.au and we will endeavour to respond with 5 business days.

This depends on how many clothes are collected in any given event. We are happy to provide estimates on potential amounts earned if you can advise us of your event and the expected number of attendees. Please email your event details to info@cashforclothing.com.au for a confidential assessment and one of our Business Managers will be in touch with you.

Yes, once you email your request to info@cashforclothing.com.au, one of our Business Managers will be in touch to run through our approval process.

Yes we support a number of different charities including the McGrath Foundation and Lone Fathers Association. We pay donation fees and then a percentage of our profits to Charity.
